CertMag Job Resources: Salary Calculator
Most job listings include a salary or wage. And the average employment seeker can tell at a glance whether $65,000/year or $12.50/hour looks better or worse than his (or her) current compensation situation.
It’s a little harder to estimate exactly how much better. And what if the job is in a different state? Wouldn’t it be handy if you could quickly and easily pin down your exact take-home pay? We’ve been hearing a lot about a handy salary calculator that used to be available here at CertMag.com.
After crawling around in the attic a little, and blowing the dust off a few old boxes, we finally found what many of you are looking for. It won’t solve all of your job-hunting problems. It will, however, help you get a better sense of what you can expect to see at the bottom of your first paycheck from that new job you’re thinking about.
So here it is. In response to many requests, we’ve brought back CertMag’s old salary calculator.
UPDATE: Or there it was. Alas, the ever-popular salary calculator is once again proving ever-difficult to maintain in an ever-present state. We’re looking into the problem.
