ExamForce Hires Former (ISC)2 Americas Leader
ExamForce announced the hiring of John Mongeon as its new corporate and government sales manager. Mongeon formerly headed up the Government Services Division for (ISC)2 Americas, where he oversaw government sales and marketing initiatives for the CISSP credential, one of the top security certifications in the IT industry.
Mongeon, a resident of Clearwater, Fla., recently left (ISC)2 Americas to spend more time with his 2-year old son. In addition to dozens of trade shows, his travel schedule required him to be in the (ISC)2 Americas offices in Washington several months out of the year. “He’ll be throwing a baseball soon,” said Mongeon, “and I want to be there to catch it when he does.”
Mongeon was the perfect fit for ExamForce, a rapidly growing exam preparation and training company based in Largo. “We were lucky to find him,” said company President Kevin Forcier. “John knows the industry and has the kind of high-level contacts that will allow us to hit the ground running.”
Mongeon will be tasked with building a new division from the ground up. Of special interest is the Department of Defense Directive 8570-1 that requires Department of Defense Information Assurance personnel and those employed as DOD IA contractors to be certified by 2011. “With the quality of the ExamForce product line and the critical need for a certified workforce in today’s government and corporate IT environments, I’m excited to join the successful team at ExamForce. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the company.”
