Worldwide ERC to Judge China Staff HR Awards

<strong>Washington, D.C. &mdash; Sept. 21</strong><br />Worldwide ERC will be participating on a panel of judges in the prestigious China STAFF Human Resources Awards 2007. <br /><br />China STAFF is a bilingual journal dedicated to HR management issues in Hong Kong and China, and its annual high-profile, independent awards program is well-known in the greater China HR community. <br /><br />This year&#39;s awards will be celebrated Nov. 29 in Shanghai, where more than 200 senior-level HR executives are expected to attend. <br /><br />Mark Giorgini from China Vanke, co-chairman of Worldwide ERC&#39;s China Task Force, will serve as the representative judge from Worldwide ERC.<br /><br />The China STAFF Human Resources Awards 2007 program drew entries from more than 150 HR professionals from multinational companies and large local companies. <br /><br />Awards will recognize such categories as HR team of the year and HR director of the year, as well as best practices in labor law, engagement and retention, reward and recognition, team leadership and leadership development, best HR strategy for business growth and best practice in regional HR. <br /><br />Supplier sector awards also will be presented for best HR service providers in training, outsourcing, recruitment, HR technology and talent management consulting. <br /><br />Among last year&#39;s award winners were AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical Co.
