Workforce Development Leaders to Present at WorkKeys National Conference

Three national leaders in business, government and workforce development will give keynote addresses at the 11th annual WorkKeys National Conference to be held April 29 through May 2 at the Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis.<br /> <br />This year&rsquo;s keynote presenters are:<br /> <br />&bull; Larry Crane, sector director of workforce training and development for Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, who will speak about the value of job skill assessments from the employer perspective.<br />&bull; Teresa Voors, commissioner of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, who will speak on workforce development accomplishments in Indiana.<br />&bull; Roger Sampson, president of the Education Commission of the States, who will speak about how schools can better prepare students for the workforce.<br /> <br />The annual WorkKeys National Conference attracts professionals in human resources, staff selection, employee development, secondary and post-secondary education, government and related fields to discuss how ACT&rsquo;s WorkKeys system is used in hiring and training practices, lowering employee turnover, improving productivity and preparing students for the workforce.<br /> <br />"Participants at the WorkKeys National Conference get the opportunity to hear from national thought leaders in business, education, workforce and economic development," said Martin Scaglione, president and chief operating officer of ACT&#39;s Workforce Development Division.
