Weichert Realtors Delivers Blended Learning
<p><strong>Sunrise, Fla. — June 20 </strong><br />Learn.com, a provider of on-demand workforce development and productivity, has announced that Weichert Realtors, a family of full-service real estate and financial services companies, was the subject of a recent case study titled, “Evolution of a Blended-Learning Program for Sales Associates.” </p><p>The study also features the Learn.com LearnCenter platform, which is used by Weichert to provide on-demand training and centralize tracking and reporting of learning activities. </p><p>The study discusses how Weichert used the LearnCenter platform to evolve its sales associate training programs from classroom-only to a blended curriculum, successfully roll out an e-learning system and develop a framework for building and delivering courses. </p><p>Fully supported by its president, Jim Weichert, the company’s e-learning training initiatives are viewed as a critical tool in the effort to help Weichert employees and sales associates — the company’s most prized asset — be the best they can be.<br /><br />The success of Weichert University Online was also detailed in the case study. </p><p>Using the LearnCenter platform, Weichert offers about 37 real estate-specific courses online, more than 160 technology courses and additional online resources for sales office managers. </p><p>Sales associates use the LearnCenter portal to access e-learning courses and view tips and strategies for using unique Weichert tools, as well as a multitude of performance-support tools. </p><p>Sales office managers use the portal to get best practices, which are tools and information they need to manage their offices and develop their sales associates’ skills.<br /><br />“By combining e-learning, classroom instruction and Web conferencing, we are able to offer development and learning programs that help Weichert sales associates build new skills and sharpen existing ones,” said Mary Banen, vice president of training and development. “Our improved training platform through Learn.com helps sales associates optimize their productivity, provide value to their clients and ultimately close more transactions.”</p>
