Burlington, Mass.
Are you are in the midst of job transition, like so many of us these days, or just looking for a change? In today’s volatile economy, do you need help in understanding what matters in your search and what might not?

During the complimentary Feb. 25 webinar sponsored by the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM), job seekers and hiring managers/internal recruiters will learn several areas of opportunity they may not even have considered from three recruiting representatives. Panelists will share tips on how to secure a job in any industry given the current economy.

Nov Omana, CEO of Collective HR Solutions LLC, will lead the discussion by providing an overview of today’s employment environment and how the shrinking economy impacts job searches.

“Although this session is designed for the volatile economy of today, participants will be able to apply what they learned anytime they decide to make a job transition or hire someone,” Omana said.

Panelists include Bryan Harris, founder of Total Service Consulting, who has 40 years of experience consulting. He has worked with nearly 200 corporations and organizations in locating and placing individuals in a variety of professional fields.

Karen Convery is owner and president of CBC Resources Inc., an executive search firm. She will discuss how she helps place human resources information systems professionals. Finally, Karla Robertson, CEO of Shifting Gears Business Coaching and Consulting, will provide tips on how to lay out a systematic path to the entire job search process and how to sharpen the skills needed to land a great job.

Additionally, these panelists will discuss:

  • The new employment models.
  • Basic steps to finding a job.
  • Resume and cover letter importance.
  • What to consider in a job search.
  • Hidden job sources.

Registration is complimentary and includes one Internet connection, one set of handout materials and unlimited participant attendance at your site. You will be able to listen to the presentation through Voice over IP (VoIP) via your computer speakers or headset, or by dialing in.
