Washington Extends E-Learning with GeoLearning

<p><strong>West Des Moines, Iowa &mdash; May 30</strong><br />GeoLearning Inc., a provider of managed learning Services and hosted learning and performance platforms, has announced that the state of Washington has extended its e-learning management system master contract with GeoLearning to 2010.<br /><br />In a separate development, the state is authorized to spend a collective $9 million, if it chooses, for e-learning software and services over the next three years.<br /><br />GeoLearning has been working with Washington since 2003. </p><p>The first Washington state agencies to deploy GeoLearning&#39;s on-demand GeoMaestro Learning Management Suite (LMS) and accompanying services include the Department of Personnel, the Department of Health, the Department of Social &amp; Health Services and Edmonds Community College.<br /><br />&quot;We&#39;ve worked with Washington for more than three years and have earned the opportunity to help them expand across the state&#39;s government entities,&quot; said Frank Russell, GeoLearning president and CEO. &quot;Using our software-as-a-service model, Washington&#39;s state agencies and department will continue to leverage the configurability and agility of GeoMaestro without the hassles or headaches normally associated with large-scale software implementations.&quot;</p>
