Universal Health Services Selects HRsmart

<p><strong>Richardson, Texas &mdash; May 11</strong><br />HRsmart, a provider of the integrated talent management application suite, has been selected by Universal Health Services (UHS) to deliver applicant-tracking technology to its more than 130 acute-care hospitals and behavioral health centers throughout the country.<br /><br />UHS selected HRsmart because of its ability to configure the system to meet the unique needs of the organization in terms of sharing information and technology resources across all of its facilities. </p><p>Also, because HRsmart provides the full talent management applications suite, UHS has the ability to add post-hire modules that seamlessly integrate with one another.<br /><br />&quot;The installation of a new applicant-tracking system for the entire enterprise is a first step in helping to accomplish our strategic business objectives of creating consistent HR management processes, better communication and improved reporting methods across the organization, among others,&quot; said Paul Yakulis, UHS vice president of human resources. &quot;Of the systems we reviewed, HRsmart provides the best functionality and scalability. We look forward to working with them.&quot;</p><p>Mark Hamdan, HRsmart CEO, agrees.&nbsp; </p><p>&quot;HRsmart is very proud to add UHS to its group of enterprise clients,&quot; he said. &quot;We plan to deliver the same combination of technology, service and economics that has made us the company of choice for many Fortune 500 companies such as Valero, DuPont and Lennox, among others.&quot;<br /><br />HRsmart&rsquo;s system will help UHS recruiters become more efficient and effective with tools such as a corporate career site integrating all the facilities, conceptual resume search, offer management and onboarding with an integration with the company&rsquo;s HRIS. </p><p>In addition to improving efficiencies, the new system will provide important reporting tools that deliver metrics, allowing UHS executives the ability to determine how individual hospital&rsquo;s recruiting practices affect the facility&rsquo;s performance and, ultimately, the organization&rsquo;s bottom line. </p><p>This insight will help management identify and then duplicate best practices across the entire organization, giving UHS an edge in hiring the best talent in the competitive health care market.</p>
