Lost synchronization is one of the reasons the MWI does not turn off as expected. Synchronization can be lost due to the phone system being off-line at the time an MWI status changes. MWI synchronization can be scheduled for a later time by selecting the check box Resynchronize at in MWI synchronization area.


The following is the procedure used to resynchronize the MWIs:
Step 1: On the Cisco Unity start menu, click Programs > Unity > Manage Integrations .
Step 2: Click Properties in the left pane on the integration tab.
Step 3: To start the synchronization, click the Resynchronize Now button under the MWI Synchronization area.
All the other options are incorrect because these are not the valid steps required to resynchronize the MWIs.
