The NY Times, Monster Form Online Jobs Alliance
<p><b>New York — Feb. 15</b><br/>Monster Worldwide, parent of jobs Web site Monster.com, will form an online recruitment alliance with The New York Times Co.</p><p>The companies said 19 of the Times' newspaper sites — which include The Boston Globe, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and The New York Times itself — will co-brand their online recruitment advertising Web sites with Monster, with the sites beginning to appear next month.</p> <p>The Times' Web page is the most visited newspaper site in the United States, the companies said. </p><p>The deal is part of Monster's strategy to strengthen its presence in local jobs markets, which now includes 60 daily newspapers and eight television partners. </p>
