Texas Engineering Extension Service Selects
<p><strong>Sunrise, Fla. — June 6 </strong><br />Learn.com, a provider of on-demand workforce development and productivity, has announced that Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a provider of technical skills training, has selected the Learn.com LearnCenter platform to provide on-demand training to its employees and global customers.<br /><br />After researching many talent management vendors, Learn.com was selected based on the company’s outstanding reputation and the LearnCenter platform’s superior feature set and extensive flexibility. </p><p>The Learn.com support team was very knowledgeable and understanding of TEEX’s needs and allowed it to use a “sandbox” to demo test the LearnCenter’s use and features.<br /><br />TEEX needed a mechanism to provide a Web-based platform to deliver training to its internal employees, as well as to more than 60,000 customers worldwide. </p><p>To help accomplish this objective, the company will establish global sub-LearnCenters for its customers, TEEX employees who will complete mandatory and optional training courses and human resources personnel who are responsible for all internal training, tracking and reporting.<br /><br />TEEX will implement stand-alone Web-based courses, as well as a blended learning approach, and expects to offer seven to 20 Web-based training courses for external customers within the first year after deployment.</p>
