St. Paul, Minn.
TempWorks Software, a provider of business solutions for the staffing industry, revealed its new Time Clock solution at the Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2008 Executive Forum conference. The Time Clock is an efficient method for accurate, real-time workforce management that seamlessly integrates data to the TempWorks staffing software applications. TempWorks revealed its new product as a Gold Sponsor at the Executive Forum conference March 5-7.

The Time Clock performs in real time, so it prevents opportunities for employees to “pad” hours or embellish overtime worked. It’s unique because of its true integration capabilities with the core TempWorks database and online Web portal solutions. The result is accurate data flow between scheduling, time entry and payroll.

Customers can log in to their online accounts and connect to Web reporting and online time-card approval. The ability to generate real-time reports on time and attendance gives clients an advantage for handling immediate and future workforce issues. The information sharing made possible with the Time Clock and online Web portal will help staffing firms enhance customer service to clients.

Integration to payroll means that approved time-card data moves back into the TempWorks database for processing by the staffing firm. Less pay clerk staff will be needed, and less manual entry prevents errors from being keyed in.

The new product is a dedicated time-clock hardware and software solution that can be deployed from multiple platforms including: card readers, PCs at kiosk stations, a Web-based punch clock or a micro-computer touch screen.
