St. Paul, Minn. — Dec. 27
TempWorks Software, a provider of a complete package of software solutions for the staffing industry, has announced the latest addition to its online applicant portal — the Candidate Board.

In the staffing business, the biggest differentiators are having the best talent in a company’s market and delivering the best service. Staffing firms that empower their clients and employees to find exactly what they are looking for provide an invaluable service not easily found elsewhere.

“We understand what an important asset our customers’ clients and employees are to them,” commented Paul Czywczynski, chief technology officer for TempWorks Software. “That’s why we developed the Candidate Board as part of our WebCenter Applicant Portal — to help our customers develop stronger relationships and deliver better service.”

The new Candidate Board is part of the Applicant Portal, included in a suite of portals for clients, employees, applicants and vendor management that make up the TempWorks WebCenter.

The Applicant Portal is geared toward bringing in talent because it allows applicants to self-register with staffing companies. Applicants access the portal directly from a staffing firm’s Web site, so they have the liberty to visit at their convenience.

Built into the Applicant Portal is a Job Board, where applicants can proactively search a staffing firm’s open positions and directly submit an application or send a resume.

Similar in function to the Job Board, the newly introduced Candidate Board displays a staffing firm’s employees available to go on assignment. Clients can independently search through the candidates and find the right fit for their employment needs.
