Team Development Expert Joins LeaderSource

<p><strong>Minneapolis &mdash; May 25</strong><br />Leadership development and executive coaching consultancy LeaderSource, fresh off its recent acquisition by Korn/Ferry International, announces the appointment of Patrick Costello, former director of the Prouty Project&#39;s team development practice.</p><p>Previously an adjunct consultant with LeaderSource, Costello joins the firm&#39;s highly regarded team-coaching area on a full-time basis.&nbsp; </p><p>He brings more than 15 years of global experience with organizational development, experiential education and team coaching to the firm&#39;s newly enhanced suite of leadership development solutions.<br /><br />Costello&#39;s passion for designing dynamic learning and development programs that deeply engage senior and executive teams is evident from his 12 years as the lead consultant for the Prouty Project&#39;s Strategic Team Development Practice. </p><p>As primary adviser for leadership teams of small businesses on through Fortune 500 companies spanning a wide range of industries, Costello successfully customized cutting-edge immersion programs that stretched people&#39;s learning and facilitated authentic and value-driven teams around the globe. </p><p>He led several of the company&#39;s STRETCH Expeditions, with destinations that included the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, the South Island of New Zealand and Patagonia in<br />South America.<br /><br />Before joining the Prouty Project, Costello directed experiential and adventure-based programming for two of the premier YMCA Camping programs in the nation:&nbsp; Widjiwagan Wilderness Adventures in Ely, Minn., and the YMCA Camp St. Croix in Hudson, Wis., where he created the Adventure Learning Center. &nbsp;<br /><br />&quot;Pat is a master of engaging sophisticated, sometimes skeptical groups in ways that facilitate authenticity, trust and efficiencies in their real-life challenges and build lasting intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness,&quot; Kevin Cashman, LeaderSource CEO, said. &quot;He catalyzes<br />important and difficult conversations that challenge people&#39;s assumptions, reset patterns and provide productive outcomes.&quot;<br /><br />Costello cites LeaderSource&#39;s value-based mission, as well as the talents and records of its staff as what attracted him to the organization.&nbsp; </p><p>In his new role, he will expand on the firm&#39;s various research-driven teaming products, including TeamCatalyst and TeamSynergy. </p><p>He will leverage a breadth of assessment tools through his work and facilitate innovative off-site trainings and retreats.</p>
