Team Development Expert Joins LeaderSource
<p><strong>Minneapolis — May 25</strong><br />Leadership development and executive coaching consultancy LeaderSource, fresh off its recent acquisition by Korn/Ferry International, announces the appointment of Patrick Costello, former director of the Prouty Project's team development practice.</p><p>Previously an adjunct consultant with LeaderSource, Costello joins the firm's highly regarded team-coaching area on a full-time basis. </p><p>He brings more than 15 years of global experience with organizational development, experiential education and team coaching to the firm's newly enhanced suite of leadership development solutions.<br /><br />Costello's passion for designing dynamic learning and development programs that deeply engage senior and executive teams is evident from his 12 years as the lead consultant for the Prouty Project's Strategic Team Development Practice. </p><p>As primary adviser for leadership teams of small businesses on through Fortune 500 companies spanning a wide range of industries, Costello successfully customized cutting-edge immersion programs that stretched people's learning and facilitated authentic and value-driven teams around the globe. </p><p>He led several of the company's STRETCH Expeditions, with destinations that included the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, the South Island of New Zealand and Patagonia in<br />South America.<br /><br />Before joining the Prouty Project, Costello directed experiential and adventure-based programming for two of the premier YMCA Camping programs in the nation: Widjiwagan Wilderness Adventures in Ely, Minn., and the YMCA Camp St. Croix in Hudson, Wis., where he created the Adventure Learning Center. <br /><br />"Pat is a master of engaging sophisticated, sometimes skeptical groups in ways that facilitate authenticity, trust and efficiencies in their real-life challenges and build lasting intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness," Kevin Cashman, LeaderSource CEO, said.
