Tata Interactive Systems Expands in Germany

<p><strong>London &mdash; Nov. 20</strong><br />No sooner had global learning provider Tata Interactive Systems (TIS) established a presence in the Netherlands in order to service the Northern European market than it also opened a new office in Koln, Germany.<br /><br />TIS&#39;s new office, in Koln &mdash; principally a sales and after-sales service center serving the central European German-speaking markets &mdash; augments TIS&rsquo;s existing offices in Tubingen, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland.<br /><br />TIS&rsquo;s CFO, Amita Karia, commented, &ldquo;With the strengthening of the euro in world money markets, it makes good business sense to ramp up our European presence.&rdquo;<br /><br />According to Sanjaya Sharma, TIS&rsquo;s CEO, &ldquo;This move helps to consolidate our expansion within the European market, building on our many achievements in the U.K. and German markets over a number of years.<br /><br />&ldquo;Within Europe &mdash; and, indeed, globally &mdash; we are enabling our clients&rsquo; corporate initiatives and meeting their business needs through our consulting services, e-learning materials, simulations and electronic performance support systems (EPSS),&rdquo; he revealed. &ldquo;This portfolio of products and services is enabling us to move from fulfilling single projects for clients to building long-term, holistic relationships with our clients, helping them to develop their workforces to achieve their business strategies and goals.&rdquo; </p>
