Demand Grows for Customer Relations Training

<strong>Boston &mdash; Aug. 29</strong><br />Two out of three organizations are experiencing a growing demand for customer service training, according to Novations Group, a global consulting organization based in Boston. <br /><br />Of 2,046 senior human resource executives surveyed by the firm, 64 percent report a rising demand for customer relations or customer service training, and 24 percent indicate no increase.<br /><br />&ldquo;There&rsquo;s an awareness that employees in various functions aren&rsquo;t sufficiently responsive or attuned to customers,&rdquo; Novations Vice President Peter Ambrozaitis said. &ldquo;More employers are extending customer relations training beyond the traditional sales or call center areas into other departments such as product development or fulfillment.&rdquo;<br /><br />The Novations Group Internet survey of senior human resources and training and development executives was conducted by Equation Research.
