SelectMinds Expands International Team

<p><strong>New York &mdash; July 11</strong><br />SelectMinds Inc., a provider of corporate social networking (CSN) solutions, has announced the appointment of Olivia Cook as account director, based in London. </p><p>SelectMinds recently opened its London office to support its growing international customer base and the heightened, global demand for CSN solutions. </p><p>CSNs are online, affinity-based social networks through which relationships can be leveraged for business value.<br /><br />SelectMinds CSN solutions are used in 25 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region, in 14 local languages. </p><p>As account director, Cook will be responsible for providing local consulting services and support for SelectMinds&#39; global customers and developing new client relationships.<br /><br />&quot;I am pleased to welcome Olivia to SelectMinds and look forward to her contribution as we extend our global reach as the market leader in corporate social networking,&quot; said Blue Teramoto, SelectMinds chief operating officer. &quot;Olivia&#39;s extensive experience in bringing cutting-edge technology solutions to market at several prestigious organizations throughout Europe will be integral to our global expansion. </p><p>&quot;I am confident that her leadership will be a significant asset to the continued growth of SelectMinds.&quot;<br /><br />Before SelectMinds, Cook worked as a consultant at Bain and Co., a global business consulting firm, where she advised companies on organizational and business performance. </p><p>She also served as business development manager at Loyal Management UK (LMUK), a company focused on the development and management of customer-reward programs. </p><p>Cook played an integral role in expanding LMUK to become the United Kingdom&#39;s largest reward program in less than a year from its launch.<br /><br />&quot;Corporate social networking is an innovative way for organizations to keep their employees connected not only to the business but also to one another,&quot; Cook said. &quot;I am excited to help further our reach as the global market leader in corporate social networking.
