SelectMinds Elects Software Sales Executive

<p>New York &mdash; Dec. 3<br />SelectMinds Inc., a provider of corporate social networking (CSN) solutions, announced the addition of John McMahon to its board of directors. McMahon brings a strong track record in sales and sales management to the SelectMinds board, having led worldwide sales organizations for four public software companies: Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), GeoTel, Ariba and BladeLogic.<br /><br />Currently, McMahon serves as EVP and COO at BladeLogic, where he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations across BladeLogic&#39;s sales, professional services, product management, development and support organizations. Under his sales leadership, PTC revenues grew from $3 million to $1.1 billion in nine years. McMahon also managed global sales at GeoTel, prior to the company&#39;s acquisition by Cisco for $2 billion. McMahon led worldwide sales at Ariba, where he oversaw the merger between the Tradex and Trading Dynamics sales forces, helping to fuel Ariba&#39;s standing as a B2B market leader. McMahon was also CEO of High Roads Technology, an HR cost management software company, where he grew annual subscription revenues from zero to $8.5 million in three years. </p>
