Sturbridge, Mass. — April 16
Pyroto Inc., a technology consulting firm based in Sturbridge, announced the release of its newest software as a service, Pyroto Scheduler, for training departments and training vendors.

Pyroto Scheduler 4.0 is a Web-based application (SaaS) designed to allow training vendors or in-house training departments to input, schedule and track large numbers of training classes and instructors. Key features include a detailed calendar view of classes; the matching of instructor qualifications and availability to upcoming classes; the ability to invite or assign multiple instructors at once; a wide range of information that can be stored for each course; a tailored view of the system and classes for each user type (scheduler, salesperson, instructor, etc.); individualized functional views of data for key players; client activity tracking for salespeople; and the ability for instructors to personally manage their availability.

According to Pyroto President James Ludwick, "Most training companies are still managing programs and deploying instructors by using a spreadsheet and often find they are playing catch-up via e-mail or telephone. Pyroto Scheduler gives every stakeholder — including schedulers, instructors, salespeople and management — the ability to see and work with the information they need, when they need it. Assigning an unqualified or previously booked instructor can now be a thing of the past."

Pyroto Scheduler 4.0 helps to bring the major aspects of training scheduling together into one cohesive application. Companies can benefit from fewer scheduling errors and a more efficient use of resources.
