President of APT Elected to CBIA Board of Directors

<strong>Darien, Conn. &mdash; Nov. 12</strong><br />APT Inc. announced that Dr. Kathleen K. Lundquist, president, has recently been elected to a four-year term as a member of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association&rsquo;s (CBIA) board of directors.<br /><br />Lundquist is president of Applied Psychological Techniques Inc. (APT). She is one of 13 new members elected to the CBIA board who will begin their terms Dec. 1, 2007.<br /><br />CBIA is the state&rsquo;s largest business organization, with 10,000 member companies throughout Connecticut. The board of directors approves the organization&rsquo;s plans, policies and strategies, and particularly focuses on ways to make Connecticut a better place to do business and create jobs.<br /><br />Lundquist is a nationally recognized organizational psychologist who testifies frequently as an expert witness in employment discrimination class-action lawsuits. She is a former research associate with the National Academy of Sciences, a fellow in psychometrics with the Psychological Corp. and a summer research fellow with the Educational Testing Service.<br /><br />Lundquist is a member of the board of directors of the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Conn. She is a recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owners&rsquo; Connecticut 2002 &ldquo;Woman Business Owner of the Year Award.&rdquo;<br /><br />She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Fordham University, where she received her Ph.D. in psychology with a specialization in psychometrics.<br />
