Perth Leadership Institute Book on Financial Styles

<p><strong>Gainesville, Fla. &mdash; Sept. 19 </strong><br />The Perth Leadership Institute, a provider of business acumen assessment and development programs, has announced that “The Three Financial Styles of Very Successful Leaders” by founder and CEO Dr. E. Ted Prince, has been named &ldquo;one of the best imported books in China in 2006.&rdquo;</p><p>The book, published in 2005, has been translated into Chinese and the publisher is Ewin Books, a joint venture between McGraw Hill and the Chinese Ministry for Finance.<br /><br />This award competition, Annual Evaluation and Selection of Best Imported Books, was conducted by three leading national publishing organizations, China Publishing International Cooperation Association, China Institute of Publishing Study and Information on Publications (a leading bibliographic magazine). </p><p>The awards committee reviewed more than 500 titles for the award, which included most of the top-selling books in the United States and the rest of the world. </p><p>Of these, the committee chose 81 titles for the award. These included best-sellers such as “The World is Flat” by  Thomas Friedman, “The Long Tail” by Chris Anderson, “Our Iceberg is Melting” by John Kotter and “Revolutionary Wealth” by Alvin Toffler.</p><p>&ldquo;We are honored to be chosen by the committee for this award alongside such illustrious authors and titles,” Prince said. “The Perth Leadership Institute&rsquo;s approach is fast gaining traction in China, and the book award is clear recognition of this in the world&rsquo;s fastest-growing economy. </p><p>”We are close to signing distribution agreements in China. We believe that the Chinese market is perfect for our advanced approach to developing and enhancing superior profit behaviors and business acumen in business executives in companies in China.&rdquo;<br /><br />The Perth Leadership Institute has developed leadership assessments based on the research set out in the book. These form part of its financial performance training and improvement programs for executives, which include its individual, team and C-level financial performance programs.<br /><br />Perth already announced the release of its Financial Outcome Assessment, an online instrument that assesses the business acumen of executives and managers and shows them how to develop it.</p>
