Burlington, Mass. — Oct. 29
Todd Whitney, human resources information systems manager at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is the featured presenter at IHRIM’s Nov. 8 Webinar, “Our Paperless Journey: Manager Self-Service at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.”

Whitney led the CHOP rollout of an HR/Payroll self-service to its 9,000 employees in July 2006. Through the customized Lawson MSS, 700-plus managers now have access to 10 personnel actions, including status and position changes, pay transactions and bonuses. Each action has been customized to minimize error and automatically populate fields per benefit and compensation guidelines and each is programmed with Process Flow for automated e-mail notification and approval routing. More details are available at http://www.ihrim.org/events/Webinars/webinarNov07.asp.

Webinar attendees will hear about:
• CHOP’s strategy of implementation
• A Web solution to fit the challenge (live demo)
• Supporting the online product
• Lessons learned in managing change

Come hear about this project and the lessons learned at The Children’s Hospital, and see a live demonstration of our online personnel actions for managers.
