Novell CEO to Keynote Interop New York

Waltham, Mass. — Sept. 8
Novell announced Ron Hovsepian, president and CEO, will deliver a keynote at Interop New York on Sept. 17 at 10 a.m, at Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. The Interop New York conference is focused on providing comprehensive thought-leadership on key IT topics and the future of business technology.

In line with those themes, the keynote, “Making IT Work As One,” will outline Novell’s solutions strategy, with a focus on delivering customer value by reducing cost, complexity and risk in today’s mixed IT environments.

Novell offers integrated identity and security solutions, physical and virtual systems management, individual and team collaboration tools and a desktop-to-data center platform with built-in virtualization. Novell will also be on the show floor at booth 439.

Through demonstrations and presentations, attendees will learn about Novell’s infrastructure software solutions and how organizations can improve business agility and productivity with systems and resource management and enterprise 2.0 collaboration solutions. Demonstrations will include:

  • Novell ZENworks Configuration Management.
  • Novell ZENworks Endpoint Security Management.
  • Novell ZENworks Orchestrator and PlateSpin solutions.
  • Novell Teaming + Conferencing and Novell GroupWise.

Specific endpoint security, data-center automation and collaboration topics will be addressed by Novell product experts during the event. From managing virtualization in the data center and gaining control of an organization’s endpoints to systems management and enterprise collaboration, the Interop New York breakout sessions will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about the critical IT management and productivity issues they face today and the tools and solutions that can help them succeed.
