MicroTek Announces Meeting Services Division

<p><strong>Downers Grove, Ill. &mdash; Aug. 27</strong><br />MicroTek, a provider of training facilities management and logistics, has created a meeting services division.<br /><br />”Meeting services is the next logical addition to our expanding portfolio of on-demand business education services,&rdquo; CEO Don Slivensky said. &ldquo;For 16 years, we have been focused on the logistics of training events in our own MicroTek facilities and have now expanded that breadth of reach to provide site selection and meeting services for all corporate meeting events&rdquo;.<br /><br />Beth Becker, meeting resource manager, agreed.</p><p>&ldquo;Corporate meeting planners often have workloads that make it difficult for them to take on new assignments, research venues or dedicate the necessary time to managing multiple events,&rdquo; Becker said. “Our meeting services division was developed to take care of the details so the planner can focus on the guests and the event.&rdquo;<br /><br />MicroTek&rsquo;s meeting services division provides support for corporate meeting events, including national sales meetings, workshops, motivational meetings, team-building and incentive meetings, soft skills and technical training events and more. </p><p>Services include site research and site selection, catering options, technology-based meetings, contract negotiation and single-point-of-contact resourcing.  </p>
