Michael C. Fina Enhances GiftTALK IVR System
<p><strong>New York — Sept. 20 </strong><br />Michael C. Fina, a provider of worldwide corporate employee-recognition programs, has enhanced its GiftTALK Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system by adding French-Canadian language capability. </p><p>GiftTALK is Michael C. Fina’s telephone IVR system, which customers’ employees use to place their Michael C. Fina gift orders over the phone.<br /><br />IVR is a phone technology that allows a computer to detect voice and touch tones using a normal phone call. </p><p>“GiftTALK has been available in English and Spanish, and we have now deployed the French-Canadian language to better support our Canadian customers,” Vice President Michael A. Fina said.</p><p>The system also allows users to receive order status on previously placed orders.<br /><br />This enhancement comes on the heels of Michael C. Fina’s major GiftNET upgrade to 11 languages, which better serves its international customers. </p><p>GiftNET, a gift catalog Web site, provides customers with an enhanced online gift selection experience that is fully branded and has multilingual capability and multiple gift display options.<br /><br />“Technology is a key driver of today’s successful employee-recognition programs, and both GiftTALK and GiftNET represent major upgrades to our technology, which will benefit all our customers and their employees,” Fina said.</p>
