Media 1 Expands to Meet Demand for Consulting

<p><strong>Grand Haven, Mich. &mdash; July 19</strong><br />Media 1, a learning consulting developer, has expanded its instructional design team with the addition of Deb Woudenberg, an expert in corporate training, and Ulysses Melen as project manager. </p><p>These additions bring the Media 1 team to 24 &mdash; a 20 percent increase in the number of employees over this time last year.</p><p>Media 1 attributes its growth and success to a continued focus on providing global corporations with award-winning custom interactive training programs. </p><p>Woudenberg brings with her more than 15 years of rich experience in training and development, for which she has received awards and accolades. </p><p>In addition, she has worked in a variety of industries from automotive to health care. </p><p>In her role as instructional design consultant, this broad range is truly an asset to Media 1. </p><p>Melen is a dynamic young professional who adds spark and enthusiasm to the team. </p><p>Prior to Media 1, he worked in a variety of industries including health care, military, automotive, machinery, software and manufacturing as a trainer, technical<br />writer and project manager. </p><p>He joins Media 1 as a project manager. </p><p>When the news around the state is all about economic downturns, Media 1 President Chris Willis is excited about the growth of her company, and this year, Media 1 is on track for growth of more than 40 percent for the second year in a row. </p><p>&ldquo;We are excited to have Deb and Ulysses join our team of professionals,&quot; Willis said. &quot;Their talents will definitely aid us as our company continues to build market share.&rdquo;</p>
