LearnShare Announces Director of Consulting

<p><strong>July 16 &mdash; Toledo, Ohio</strong><br />LearnShare LLC, the consortium of Fortune 1000 companies organized to research, design, purchase, package and share best practices in training and development, has appointed Vasiliki Papalas as director of the consulting division.<br /><br />LearnShare&rsquo;s consulting division is a pillar of the LearnShare comprehensive offering that consults clients on their training and development needs and prescribes technology, community practices and other performance solutions.<br /><br />Papalas and the consulting division are focused on providing strategic solutions that align performance and organizational development with enterprise business goals.&nbsp; </p><p>The consulting division methodology involves a systematic approach to achieving measurable results through:<br /></p><ul><li>Performance-based learning and development solutions to help member organizations be more effective and increase their ROI.</li><li>Assisting organizations in applying talent management and succession planning strategies that attract, develop and maintain the right workforce for their needs.</li><li>Helping member organizations develop performance management systems that reinforce application of new skills and processes.</li><li>Analytics that track historical patterns and help in predicting and improving business performanceCommunication and marketing strategies that help foster acceptance and drive successful change through the organization.</li></ul><p>&ldquo;Bringing Vasiliki onboard has been a tremendous step for LearnShare, indicating our commitment to the growth of consulting as a practice within our service offerings,&rdquo; CEO Lois Webster said. &ldquo;Her experience lends itself extremely well to the needs of our members and future members, as she has a strategic vision for assessing the needs of an organization and building a training and development roadmap to success.&rdquo;<br /><br />Papalas has a wide breadth of experience, most recently as a well-regarded performance consultant, working with clients such as DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, the Department of Transportation&#39;s Federal Energy Regulations Compliance Department and Deloitte &amp; Touche.&nbsp; </p><p>She was previously with Ford Credit in a variety of roles, including strategic planning, business intelligence, project management, process re-engineering, product development, marketing and corporate training.&nbsp; </p><p>She has many years of experience in design and development of interactive training, as well as organizational development solutions, with clients such as General Motors, Procter &amp; Gamble and Consumers Power Co.</p><p>She has a master&rsquo;s degree in education (instructional design) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education, and a bachelor&#39;s degree in communication from the University of Pittsburgh School of Liberal Arts.</p>
