Learning Technology Provider Giunti Labs Augments Its Senior Management Team

Andrea Gentili has been appointed chief sales & marketing officer (CSMO) at Giunti Labs after 18 years experience within the ICT and consulting industry in several senior management positions in Italy, Southern Europe and the U.K. <br /> <br />Gentili has responsibility for global sales, marketing and business development activities, including all Giunti Labs&rsquo; subsidiaries worldwide. In addition to the subsidiaries in the U.K., U.S. and Germany, Giunti Labs recently announced the opening of offices in Sweden and Australia.<br /> <br />Gentili has extensive experience in the management of strategic planning, sales, business development, client management and alliances, business transformation/change management, business processes and relevant IT systems/infrastructure, shared services, procurement and sourcing/outsourcing.<br /> <br />After graduating with a master&rsquo;s in electronic engineering at one of the top Italian Universities, Gentili has worked internationally within blue-chip companies, establishing and consistently providing an excellent track record of achievements, while alternating in management roles within Europe.<br /> <br />Before joining Giunti Labs, Gentili was vice president of U.K. business development and operations at Finmeccanica Group Services. Previously, he was vice president with responsibility for the Telecom & Media Business Unit at Capgemini Italy.<br /> <br />He also has been sales director at Lucent Technologies and business development manager for south Europe at EMC. He has worked also as principal at IBM Global Services and a manager at Accenture. <br /> <br />Giunti Labs also has appointed Paolo Sicca as its chief operating officer (COO) with responsibility for managing and optimizing all Giunti Labs&rsquo; product and service delivery processes.<br /> <br />Sicca, who has a degree in information science, started his career as a system designer at the Fiat research center and then at Wabco Westinghouse/Ansaldo, simultaneously researching Petri network applications in an event-driven software environment. For the past 10 years, he has worked at General Electric as development manager, managing large, multinational software projects, focusing on e-commerce and applying SIX-SIGMA methodology. <br /> <br />Since 2001, Paolo has carried out various roles, such as CIO and COO, focusing on organization and change management in Comtech, and Alpina and Merlo. <br /> <br />Fabrizio Cardinali, Giunti Labs&rsquo; CEO, commented: &ldquo;These appointments will help Giunti Labs to move to the next level as a worldwide learning and knowledge management technology provider.<br /> <br />&ldquo;In recent months, Giunti Labs has opened new offices &mdash; in Sweden and in Australia &mdash; and established a wholly owned subsidiary in the U.K. in the light of some excellent trading results in the U.K. in 2007.
