Neenah, Wis.
J. J. Keller & Associates Inc. is pleased to announce that it will once again offer $10,000 in scholarships as part of the University Program for Prospera, its online people management tool. The company will award six scholarships: one $5,000 award and five $1,000 awards, to individual students studying human resource management.

In 2007, J. J. Keller launched the Prospera University Program as part of its commitment to higher education and the industries it serves. More than 50 schools and 1,000 students are participating in the program that provides professors and students with free, unlimited access to reference materials, HR specific interactive tools and applications and valuable industry information available in Prospera. The program has helped professors enhance their curriculums, enhanced internship experiences for HR students and served as a resource for students attaining their degrees.

Alina Smith, SHRM Student Chapter President at the University of North Texas, said, “I’ve learned the fundamentals of human resources from the textbook and lecture formats, but Prospera allows me to gain some hands-on experience in some of the functions that I may be responsible for in the future.”

Robert Keller, Chairman and CEO of J. J. Keller, said, “We continue to honor our commitment to support the industries we serve. The Prospera University Program, in conjunction with the scholarship program, has already made an impact on the education of a great number of students studying HR management.”

Only students at schools participating in the Prospera University Program are eligible for the scholarships. Applications will be made available for download on Prospera beginning May 1, and through professors at participating schools. Scholarships must be postmarked no later than Oct. 15 in order to be eligible.

School registrations for the Prospera University Program are currently being accepted.
