J. J. Keller Releases New Manual, Addresses FMLA

J. J. Keller & Associates Inc. has introduced “FMLA Revealed: Understanding Leave Requirements,” a new manual designed to help HR professionals understand and comply with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requirements, control costs related to leave taken and minimize the law’s potential disruption to their organizations’ operations.
The 600-page manual is attorney-reviewed and focuses on federal requirements, best practices information, relationship to state leave requirements and legislative activity related to the FMLA.
It also features sample forms and documents, situation analyses, explanations and interpretations, agency opinion letters, court cases and a reference section.
“FMLA Revealed: Understanding Leave Requirements” also covers the relationship between FMLA and laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), workers’ compensation and Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
