Interop Technologies Deal with MetroPCS

<p><strong>Fort Myers, Fla. &mdash; Oct. 31</strong><br />Interop Technologies, a provider of advanced wireless technology solutions, announced that MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) has agreed to purchase the Interop Over-the-Air Device Management Solution 3.3 for commercial deployment in all of its operating U.S. markets in Q4 2007. <br /><br />MetroPCS, a rapidly growing wireless service provider, selected the highly scalable, Interop OTA 3.3 solution because it enables quick, efficient device activations for new customers and provides accurate, large-scale roaming list updates for subscriber handsets. These capabilities deliver convenience to MetroPCS and its customers and reduce expenses for the operator. The SS7-based OTA 3.3 solution enables MetroPCS to adjust its Preferred Roaming List automatically to manage cost structures and react quickly to changing roaming relationships in a competitive market.
