InfoStreet Welcomes 2 New Power Players to Strategic Advisory Board

Tarzana, Calif.
InfoStreet Inc., the SaaS provider of StreetSmart, a Web-based suite of small business IT and productivity software applications, is pleased to announce the additions of Ronald Warner and Bill Battison to the company’s Strategic Advisory Board. Ronald Warner, esquire, of the legal firm Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, and Bill Battison of the investment banking firm Angeles Capital Group, have signed on to offer strategic counsel and leadership direction to InfoStreet. Timing for these additions is not coincidental and reflects a larger move by InfoStreet to aggressively grow the company by further supporting their niche small business clientele while also expanding into new channels, including the growing OEM side of InfoStreet.

“Web-delivered software is a huge growth industry, and what excites me about InfoStreet is that they recognize this vision and have been actively preparing for this software-as-a-service trend for over a decade,” explained Warner. “Their existing clientele and IT tools are well poised to spike when the trend hits its apex in the near future.”

InfoStreet’s CEO Siamak Farah commented that he is “honored to benefit from the insight and vision of these two well-known players in their respective fields.”

“I track a lot of technologies and so I have a strong grasp of which ones have staying power and which will be gone within the year,” said Battison. “It’s clear when you look at the forays that Google and Microsoft are making with online SaaS tools, that this is a trend that is here to stay, and InfoStreet’s StreetSmart application is light years ahead of the pack.”
