iLinc Named to Software 500 by Software Magazine

<p><strong>Phoenix &mdash; Oct. 18</strong><br />iLinc, a Web conferencing software and audio conferencing provider, has been named to <em>Software Magazine</em>&#39;s 25th-annual Software 500 ranking of the world&#39;s largest software and service providers. <br /><br />iLinc ranked at No. 381 with a revenue growth rate of 20.9 percent.<br /><br />The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world&#39;s largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. <br /><br />The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2006.<br /><br />”Software is projected to be the third fastest growing industry in the U.S. economy over the next decade,” said John P. Desmond, editor of <em>Software Magazine</em> and Softwaremag.com</p><p>James M. Powers, iLinc chairman, president and CEO, agreed.<br /><br />”This recognition further validates the view that Web conferencing is widely being turned to across the enterprise as a proven communication and collaboration tool, and more importantly, that users are increasingly choosing iLinc as their solution of choice to solve their communication needs,” he said.<br /><br />Revenues for ranking companies include software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue because many have other lines of business, such as hardware.</p>
