IHRIM Requests Presentations for 2008 Conference

<p><strong>Burlington, Mass. &mdash; July 31</strong><br />IHRIM, a professional association for knowledge, education and solutions supporting human capital management, is requesting presentations for its HRMStrategies 2008 Conference. </p><p>For more than 27 years, IHRIM&#39;s annual conference has offered attendees the perfect blend of networking, education and technological solutions to issues facing HR and HR systems professionals. </p><p>You are invited to submit a proposal, share your experience and expertise with your colleagues and become recognized as presenting at the world&rsquo;s most prestigious HR technology conference. <br /><br />The focus of these sessions is intended to be educational, delivered by senior practitioners and industry thought leaders, sharing practical knowledge that can be applied in the workplace and help attendees improve their effectiveness. </p><p>These sessions are not meant to showcase or promote a speaker or company&rsquo;s services or product offerings.&nbsp; </p><p>Creative and innovative approaches to the topics are encouraged. Rely on your day-to-day experiences, as well as best practices, management successes, tools and techniques for topic ideas. </p><p>All sessions are 75 minutes long, allowing for a 60-minute presentation and 15 minutes for questions and answers. </p><p>IHRIM also is inviting the submission of proposals for pre-conference educational courses, which will be held May 31 and June 1 in conjunction with HRMStrategies 2008. </p><p>Course lengths of a half-day (3.5 total education hours) and a full-day (6.5 total education hours) are accepted. </p><p>All courses are submitted for HRCI recertification credit hours, and the courses require attendees to pre-register and pay an additional fee for attendance. </p><p>For both the concurrent sessions and pre-conference educational course presentations, IHRIM is seeking qualified persons to speak on topics relevant to the following knowledge areas (this list of suggested topics is provided as a guide and is not all-inclusive):</p><ul><li>Business strategy development</li><li>Use of technology for business solutions</li><li>Systems assessments and implementations</li><li>Applications for HR processes</li><li>HR systems operations</li><li>Professional development</li></ul><p>Complete the submission form and return no later than Sept. 10. Submissions received after the deadline will not be reviewed.</p>
