I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, A Step in Immigration Reform

As the American government continues to hammer out the details of immigration reform, a variety of changes have been implemented in efforts to alleviate illegal immigration. One of those changes is the new Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.<br /><br />However, in today&#39;s workplace, employers are still particularly vulnerable to problems verifying an employee&#39;s right to work. Not only can you violate the law by failing to check the employee&#39;s right to work, but if done improperly, you can be charged with discrimination.<br /><br />J. J. This webcast will explain your rights and responsibilities in regard to the completion and maintenance of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Form, and it is HRCI approved. <br />
