<p><strong>Washington, D.C. &mdash; May 15</strong><br />The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and American University&#39;s Kogod School of Business, a school of choice for interdisciplinary business education, have agreed to bring human capital education and networking to the Washington, D.C., business community.<br /><br />In conjunction with Kogod, HCI will sponsor a series of networking breakfast events, featuring human capital experts who will share best and next practices in talent management.<br /><br />Partnering with distinguished universities and business schools, HCI has become known for its signature B-School Network and Learn events &mdash; powerful, on-campus events, which include presentations by prominent academic, government and corporate leaders, and allow for professional networking opportunities. </p><p>Events are targeted to forward-looking executives who share HCI&#39;s belief that talent is a key competitive lever in the global knowledge economy.<br /><br />&quot;HCI&#39;s collaboration with top business schools gives us another way to reach out to business communities, providing human capital professionals with access to the latest strategies in talent management,&quot; said Allan Schweyer, HCI president and executive director. &quot;We look forward to hosting events in Washington, D.C. with American University&#39;s Kogod School of Business.&quot;</p>
