Global Knowledge Offers Two New Cisco Unity Connection Courses

<strong>Cary, N.C. &mdash; April 9</strong><br />Global Knowledge, a provider of IT and business training, announced the availability of two Cisco Unity Connection training courses: <a href="http://www.globalknowledge.com/training/course.asp?pageid=9&courseid=12084&country=United+States" target="_blank">Implementing Cisco Unity Connection v7.0 (IUC)</a> and <a href="http://www.globalknowledge.com/training/course.asp?pageid=9&courseid=11979&country=United+States" target="_blank">Administering Cisco Unity Connection v7.0 (AUC)</a>. <br /><br />In IUC, students will examine the Cisco Unity Connection architecture, components, functionality and features. They will learn to implement Cisco Unity Connection to create a unified workspace encompassing applications, devices, networks and operating systems, and they will examine the features available for Cisco Unity Connection using both the GUI and command-line interface (CLI). <br /><br />Students will also learn to migrate from Cisco Unity to Cisco Unity Connection. The primary audience for the four-day IUC includes IT staff members of a small or medium-sized business and Cisco Partners who will be supporting Cisco Unity Connection.<br /><br />In the two-day AUC, designed for end-user system administrators including those responsible for day-to-day management of corporate messaging systems administering Cisco Unity Connection, students will learn to administer and manage Cisco Unity Connection. They will cover Cisco Unity Connection basics and learn to configure Cisco Unity Connection global system operating parameters as well as user and group operation.<br /><br />While there are no required prerequisites for AUC, students enrolling in IUC should have working knowledge of LANs, WANs, IP switching and routing, and traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) operations and technologies, and they should have attended Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices 1 (ICND1) and Implementing Cisco IOS Unified Communications (IIUC). <br /><br />Implementing Cisco Unity Connection v7.0 (IUC) and Administering Cisco Unity Connection v7.0 (AUC) are available in our classrooms or as private, on-site courses that can be tailored to the needs of your organization. <br />
