Global Knowledge Offers New Cisco UC Manager v7.0 Course

<strong>Cary, N.C. &mdash; March 24</strong><br />Global Knowledge, a provider of IT and business training, announced the availability of Administering Cisco Unified Communications Manager v7.0 with Enhanced Presence (ACUCM+), a three-day course in which students will learn basic administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager v7.0 and the devices that register to it. <br /><br />This Cisco Unified Communications Manager course features a sophisticated preconfigured lab environment in which students focus on core administrative skills, such as adding and deleting phones; managing MACs; configuring phones for Class of Service; adding and configuring users; using the BAT tool; configuring phone features; and configuring phones, lines and gateways with Music on Hold.<br /><br />Designed for PBX administrators, voice technicians, systems engineers and database administrators who install, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco IP telephony products, the course includes several preconfigured Cisco Unified Presence Server v7.0 integration labs, as well as exclusive lab exercises. Students will:<br /><br /><ul><li>Learn how to add and configure users in an Active Directory-integrated environment.</li><li>Learn how to configure users for Presence and remote deskphone control.</li><li>Enable video.</li><li>Configure extension mobility profiles.</li></ul><br />For further Cisco Unified Communications training, students can follow up ACUCM+ with Administering Cisco Unity Connection v7.0 (AUC) or Administering Unified Messaging (AUM). Both are two-day courses that can be paired with ACUCM+ for a week of comprehensive, targeted Unified Communications training.<br /><br />ACUCM+ is available in our classrooms or as a private, on-site course that can be tailored to the needs of your organization. <br />
