West Des Moines, Iowa — Oct. 12
GeoLearning Inc., a provider of managed learning services and on-demand performance and learning technology, has announced its third consecutive inclusion on the Software 500, Software Magazine's list of the world's foremost software and services providers.

Published as an online catalog at softwaremag.com, GeoLearning was ranked as the 309th-largest software company worldwide, attaining the same position it held in 2006.

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises.

The list includes both private and public companies, and 37 percent of the 2007 Software 500 companies are private.

The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2006.

This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting.

Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue because many have other lines of business, such as hardware.

”The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers and IT staff research and create a short list of business partners,” said John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. “It is a quick reference of vendor viability.”
