Geek Biz Myths Dispelled
Here at CertMag, we like to give you advice not only about technology, but also about business and life. To that end, I’d like to direct your attention to an interesting blog I read the other day.
Los Angeles-based scientist Ron Garret had some thoughts about the misconceptions geeks (read: techies, engineers and so forth) have when it comes to the world of work. One of my favorite points was the following: “What matters is 1) who are your customers? 2) Why will they buy what you’re selling? 3) Who is on your team? and 4) What are the risks?”
