Sunrise, Fla. — Aug. 21
Learn.com, a provider of on-demand workforce development and productivity, has announced that Extra Space Storage Inc., the second-largest operator of self-storage in the United States and a national owner, developer, acquirer and operator of professionally managed self-storage properties, has renewed its partnership with the company for an additional three years.

“The LearnCenter platform has allowed us to redesign the way we deliver new hire training to our field organization — we now have a blended approach of online learning coupled with on-the-job training,” Vice President Karen Langham said. “This has allowed us to do a much more thorough job of training our new employees. We also deliver training for new programs more quickly and with better quality.

“The boost to our organization’s ROI has been remarkable. Since implementing the LearnCenter platform, our new hire turnover (turnover in the first 90 days of employment) has decreased from 10.85 percent pre-LearnCenter to 7.5 percent post-LearnCenter. The LearnCenter platform has given our learning department a lot of credibility within the organization. We are one of the only companies in our industry to use a learning management system, and this has given us a strategic advantage over our competitors in terms of our people and how well they are trained.”
