The #70-291 exam is required for MCSA and MCSE on Windows Server 2003, so it is bound to pick up in the MCP community once released to the public. According to the Microsoft Web site, #70-291 should go beta in June and will probably be released to the public in July or August. Because I’m dissecting this exam prior to its release, describing content and coverage in detail depends on speculation rooted in the exam objectives currently available, combined with what’s known about Microsoft exam composition and structure. Table 1 summarizes my best guesses about this exam when released, where I based those guesses on data for the #70-216 network infrastructure exam (required for current MCSEs and also accepted as an elective for current MCSAs).
