Indianapolis — Nov. 7
Brad Smith, CPA, LLC has released “Formula Builder for MS Word”, a new Microsoft Office add-in program that makes it easy to create formulas in Word. Formula Builder for MS Word works on Microsoft Word 2000, 2002 (XP), 2003 and 2007.

When you write formulas, you need to know the table's cell address, which isn't disclosed by Word. Formula Builder for MS Word features a wizard that determines cell addresses for you and walks you through the steps of writing a formula.

If you can write formulas in Excel, you can write formulas in Word using Formula Builder. Formula Builder for MS Word also includes special copy and paste features that preserve relative cell references in formulas copied to other cells, just as Excel does. The program includes other features, such as converting formulas to text and a tool that updates only fields that contain formulas.

For more information and to download an evaluation copy, visit www.financialreportingtoolkit.com. The product can be purchased at the Web site. Formula Builder for MS Word is part of the Financial Reporting Toolkit collection.
