Channel Sales with New VP of Alliances Accelerates

<p><strong>Santa Monica, Calif. &mdash; Sept. 28</strong><br />Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., a provider of on-demand, integrated talent management software, has appointed Sean Jacobsohn as vice president of alliances. </p><p>Jacobsohn and his team will create and manage an ecosystem of strategic partnerships to further accelerate channel sales and extend unique product and service offerings to Cornerstone clients. <br /> <br />Jacobsohn has been an alliances and sales executive in the technology-enabled business services space since 1999. </p><p>Before joining Cornerstone, he was vice president of sales and partner development at WageWorks, where he contributed to the company&rsquo;s recurring revenue growth from $3 million to $95 million. </p><p>He spent close to four years at Elance, which sold its software unit to Click Commerce (CKCM). </p><p>Jacobsohn has also held finance positions at Major League Baseball and The Prudential Realty Group. </p><p>He has a master&#39;s degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor&#39;s degree in marketing, finance and international business from University of Wisconsin. <br /> <br />Jacobsohn intends to expand Cornerstone&rsquo;s customer base not only within the Fortune 1000 segment but also significantly grow the company&rsquo;s small and midsized customer base. </p><p>He will be identifying partners in regions worldwide where Cornerstone does not have a direct sales presence, consulting and implementation partners to help expand the company&rsquo;s global footprint, outsourcing and technology partners who can enhance Cornerstone&rsquo;s product and service offerings and additional partners with focused industry expertise, including the health care, financial services, retail, manufacturing and energy sectors.<br /> <br />&ldquo;Sean has a proven track record for creating new and recurring revenue streams in addition to maintaining and developing strong relationships with targeted alliances,&rdquo; said Adam Miller, Cornerstone OnDemand president and CEO. &ldquo;He is a valuable addition to the company, and we are excited to have the team in place to exponentially grow our partner opportunities.&rdquo;<br /> <br />Last week, Cornerstone announced significant new financing in the amount of $32 million. </p><p>The capital will be used to substantially increase sales coverage, expand international operations, build global alliances and accelerate ongoing product development and marketing initiatives. </p><p>The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Bay Partners.<br /> <br />Cornerstone&rsquo;s client acquisition continues to accelerate as the company expands into new markets. </p>
