Convergys Appoints Jeremiah of Employee Care

<strong>Singapore &mdash; Oct. 12</strong><br />Convergys Corp., a global provider of customer care, human resources and billing services, has appointed Stanley Jeremiah as managing director and vice president in the Asia-Pacific region.  <br /><br />Additionally, Jeremiah will continue his responsibilities as the global benefit solutions leader for employee care.<br /><br />With this appointment, Jeremiah now is responsible for managing Convergys&rsquo; payroll and benefits operations in the Asia0Pacific region. He reports to Christine Timmins Barry, senior vice president of global operations for employee care, and he is in Singapore.<br /><br />&ldquo;Payroll and benefits administration to regional clients is an important component in our employee care services portfolio, and Stanley&rsquo;s appointment is a critical factor in our plans to continue growing our business in Asia,&rdquo; Barry said. &ldquo;Stanley is a seasoned and experienced senior executive, and he is also a well-known and respected figure in the insurance and legal circles in Singapore. We are pleased to have top talent such as Stanley with Convergys.&rdquo;<br /><br />Before joining Convergys, Jeremiah served as general manager of the life insurance division for NTUC Income in Singapore and was managing director of Goodwins Law Corp., also in Singapore.<br /><br />Jeremiah holds both bachelor&rsquo;s and masters degrees in Law from London University. He is a qualified Barrister at Law in England and Wales and an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore. In addition, Jeremiah is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (U.K.) and a Chartered Insurer and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court (England and Wales).
