Comodo’s CEO Named Entrepreneur of the Year

Comodo, a certification authority and a global leader in identity and trust assurance management solutions, announced that Comodo CEO and Chief Security Architect Melih Abdulhayoglu received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Award in the Information Technology Software Category in New Jersey.

According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Abdulhayoglu was selected by an independent panel of judges.

“I am deeply honored to be included with such a distinguished group of accomplished entrepreneurs, especially in New Jersey, well-recognized as a center of innovation in business,” said Abdulhayoglu.

“I believe that all entrepreneurs provide the seed for a vision. For the seed to grow, it needs the fertile soil of talented, passionate and committed people. This honor recognizes the accomplishment of the entire Comodo team who I am so proud to be associated with.”

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards celebrate their 22nd anniversary this year. The program honors entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptionality in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
