CH2M HILL Expands Managed Services Capabilities

<p><strong>Denver &mdash; May 4</strong><br />CH2M HILL&#39;s Managed Services business, a global provider of end-to-end IT management solutions, has announced an addition to its 43,000-square-foot IT managed services facility by opening a new Atlanta-area data center to serve its growing southeastern United States client base. </p><p>The acquisition of the new, 10,000-square-foot data center space expands CH2M HILL&#39;s operations beyond its existing data centers. </p><p>With this addition, CH2M HILL now has 53,000 square feet of data center capacity throughout the United States.<br /><br />CH2M HILL will leverage their new global data center to increase the its capability in supporting and managing its customers&#39; IT systems. This includes management and hosting capabilities such as:</p><ul><li>24×7 IT infrastructure monitoring</li><li>Colocated resources</li><li>Managed platform (server and network management)</li><li>Disaster recovery/business continuity</li><li>ERP software hosting and management</li><li>Voice-over Internet protocol (VoIP) phone systems</li><li>Managed hosting</li></ul><p>CH2M HILL&#39;s Managed Services business operates and maintains IT infrastructures and network-based services for clients worldwide. </p><p>By providing end-to-end management of a company&#39;s IT operations, CH2M HILL enables companies to focus on their core business functions, resulting in reduced annual technology costs while increasing reliability, scalability, security and overall system performance. </p>
