Certiport Launches 2004 Worldwide Microsoft Office

Certiport announced Redmond, Wash., as the site for the upcoming Microsoft Office Specialist Academic Competition. The grand prize awards ceremony will include a banquet and a tour of the Microsoft facilities. Additional prizes, including laptop computers, will be awarded to regional winners.

 

 

 

The Microsoft Office Specialist (Office Specialist) certification is the only comprehensive, performance-based certification program approved by Microsoft to validate desktop computer skills for the Microsoft Office programs in: Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access and Microsoft Project.

 

 

 

The Office Specialist program provides computer program literacy, measures proficiency and identifies opportunities for skills enhancement. Successful candidates receive a credential recognized worldwide as proof of productive and efficient desktop computing skills.

 

 

 

The Office Specialist program offers two levels of certification: Core and Expert. The program is available in more than 100 different countries and in 17 languages.
