Centric Health Resources to Use Cobent System
Oxfordshire, England — Sept. 27
Centric Health Resources, a U.S. specialty pharmacy provider to individuals with rare, long-term disorders, is deploying the Cobent learning compliance suite (LCS) for staff training to improve the quality of the service it provides.

Although not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centric Health Resources will use the rigorous compliance capability of LCS to ensure the organization meets all FDA standards for services to patients.

“We think the Cobent LCS will help us improve our patient-centered health management approach to our business,” said Doug Carlson, Centric Health Resources quality manager. “If our staff are trained to be the best and we continually monitor and measure their capabilities, then we can deliver an even better service to those patients.”

Centric Health Resources will use LCS to develop courses unique to the organization’s services and to manage the type and level of training its staff receives.

LCS also will enable Centric Health Resources to audit individual and corporate training so the organization can demonstrate the high-quality levels of its operation and service.

Used initially by Centric’s 68 internal staff members, there are also plans to make the system available to Centric Health Resources’ patients and partners, such as nurses and suppliers, helping ensure they can deliver high-quality services and treatments for patients.

“Organizations like Centric Health Resources, which are a lifeline to many people, need to be able to prove that they have delivered training and information in the appropriate manner to the right people at the right time so that they can increase reputation and quality of service,” said Howard Sears, Cobent CEO. “The Cobent LCS is backed by over 10 years' experience in understanding compliance requirements and it is the ideal solution for developing and deploying training in regulated industries.
