Cbeyond CEO to Serve as Speaker at TiECon

<strong>Atlanta &mdash; Sept. 20</strong><br />Cbeyond Inc., an IP-based managed services provider to small businesses, has announced that CEO Jim Geiger will serve as a keynote speaker at TiECon Southeast 2007 on Sept. 22 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.<br /><br />The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a global, nonprofit network dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship. <br /><br />The world&#39;s largest nonprofit for innovation, TiE boasts more than 10,000 members in nine countries. The TiECon Southeast 2007 conference will focus on lessons in global entrepreneurship.<br /><br />”I&#39;m looking forward to participating in this year&#39;s conference,” Geiger said. “TiE is a very valuable organization that enables entrepreneurs worldwide to meet one another and learn how they can successfully propel their small business ventures. My discussion will focus on how Cbeyond has fostered an environment of achievement by building trusting relationships to create a dynamic organization centered on professionalism, hard work and accountability.”<br /><br />Cbeyond serves more than 31,000 U.S.-based small-business customers and generates more than a $75 million of revenue on an annual run-rate basis. <br /><br />Geiger and his team have successfully grown Cbeyond into a company with a market cap of more than $1 billion and an annual growth rate (30 percent-plus) that made the company the second-fastest growing technology company in Georgia on Deloitte&#39;s 2006 Technology Fast 50.
